Patrick and Susan, his American friend, are visiting a museum to see a famous collection of marionettes: it is the last chance to see the collection before it is taken to the United States. During the visit, Patrick, a big fan and expert on marionettes, discovers that something strange has been hidden in the head of his favourite doll.
