This eagerly awaited new textbook from David Knights and Hugh Willmott explores the key topics of introductory OB courses but addresses them in a distinctive way by Centralizing students' experience - a basic assumption of the text is that students already know a good deal about work organizations. Recognizing that knowledge of organization(s) is not independent of people's preoccupations and priorities and, in this sense, is politically charged.
